Mindful Monday: Health (part III)

I love this analogy from Shakespeare’s Othello. Just like a gardener nourishes and cares for her garden, our bodies and minds require the same kind of attention from us. If we are committed to taking care of our whole being, we’ll thrive.

As we kick off this week, join me as I make an effort to be dedicated in caring for my body and mind. Make a plan to exercise like you’ve been meaning to, and stick to it. Write down the foods you want to make sure you get enough of each day, and then prep them in advance. Get up early and make the time to practice yoga, meditate, or whatever gets your mind in a good place.
We have strong wills – let’s put them to work this week and make our health a priority!
